A Atriz Sandra Pasini canta e fala do seu encontro com a arte invisível da voz. Na primeira parte, Sandra apresenta músicas dos espetáculos do Teatro OM: “Uma espada para sua mão” e “Color Your Heart”. A segunda parte apresenta canções folclóricas italianas. A terceira parte apresenta músicas da performance “I Maltagliati”.

O Teatro OM, fundado em Roma em 1989 pela atriz Sandra Pasini e pela cenógrafa Antonella Diana, é um grupo de teatro internacional. Em 1996, o teatro tornou-se oficialmente dinamarquês e, desde 2006 o Teatro OM tem sido um Teatro Regional no Município de Ringkøbing-Skjern. As atividades do Teatro são destinadas a um público amplo: teatro para adultos e crianças, desfiles de rua, instalações/performances, exposições e oficinas para crianças e adultos. Além das apresentações em teatros e festivais, a Cia. procura levar o trabalho a lugares onde o teatro normalmente não vai: prisões, hospitais, museus, lares de idosos e às comunidades da América do Sul. Sandra Pasini atuou, dirigiu, produziu e desenvolveu conceitos para vários projetos, por mais de 30 anos. Apresentou-se na Europa, Nova Zelândia, Jordânia, Dubai, Índia, UEA (Califórnia, Novo México), Brasil e Colômbia.

The challenge of today is to make artistic choices starting from a vision that is carried by warmth and profoundness. Choices that spring from the necessity to confront ourselves with the world whilst maintaining our artistic identity. Time is an issue, the sense of not having time enough, the sense of not being in time. We need to confront this, not by running faster or working against time, but by finding our own pace, our own flow, in correspondence with the time we have and the times we live in.This means that we aim to let our performance work develop in its own pace, being true to the collaboration which is at the heart of Teatret OM: the co-creation and interaction between the different artists, the exchange between the different art forms in the creative process: visual arts, acting, music etc.

It also means that we spend time and give importance to cultural work outside the performances: creating meetings and cultural barters by the use of arts and other cultural expressions, reaching out to children, youths, families, people of different backgrounds and status in our society. This requires a broad variety in working methods and skills and a flexible and adaptable way to organize our work and carry it out.

Politically and economically, there is in the world today a lot of pressure to produce results and stimulate growth. In our view, this often is at the cost of quality and sustainability. Perhaps it is time to share our thoughts and dreams, to work together and to aim at convincing politicians and other decision makers that artists and cultural work has a value in itself and that arts are essential to human existence.
